Dale Hayes: PGA Master Professional and South African Golf Personality
Dale Hayes has done it all. He had a very successful amateur golf career, which included winning the 1969 & 1970 SA Amateur Strokeplay and the World Junior Championship in 1969. He turned professional at a young age and won his first professional event, the Spanish Open at the age of 18. He played on the Sunshine, European and PGA Tours and amassed 27 professional titles during this time, including the SA World Cup of Golf alongside Bobby Cole in 1974. Dale led the European Tour Order of Merit in 1975, was runner-up in 1974 & 1978 and finished fourth in 1973 & 1979. He retired from Tour golf in 1981 and became a Club Professional. He subsequently founded Compleat Golfer magazine with his life-long friend Dennis Bruyns and also started a corporate golf events business called Dale Hayes Golf. Dale continues to conduct corporate golf clinics, and Master of Ceremony or Guest Speaker roles at many events around the country.
Dennis Bruyns: PGA Master Professional; Rules Guru and Passionate Lecturer
Dennis Bruyns has been a professional golfer since 1977 and played on both the Sunshine & European Tours. He was the longest-ever serving Executive Director of the Sunshine Tour (1981 – 1991); founded Compleat Golfer magazine along with Dale Hayes in 1989 and served as it’s editor before it was sold to Ramsay Son & Parker in the late ninties. He was the Director of Training for the PGA of South Africa and later, the Chief Executive Officer (between 2002 – 2011). He is currently on the Board of Directors of the South African Golf Development Board and due to his experience and numerous and extensive local and international golf contacts, as he acts as a consultant to many within the golf industry. Dennis received Compleat Golfer’s Contribution to Golf Award in 2005.
Joanita Verster: Campus Head
Joanita Verster started her early career in management at an accounting firm. She joined Business Enterprises at the University Of Pretoria in 2007 as a Project Accountant and in 2011 joined Zwartkop Country Club where she assisted in various areas of the Club. She is passionate about the work we do at Golf Management Campus and strives to motivate and help all our students attain their future career goals.
Elsabè Hefer: Elite Performance Director at the Golf Management Campus
Elsabe Hefer has been the Head Teaching Professional at Zwartkop Country Club since 2002 and in that time has been voted the Top 10 PGA Coach in SA in 2003; WPGA Coach of the Year in 2004; Gauteng North PGA Teacher of the Year in 2014 and PGA Top-25 Teacher in 2014. Elsabe is a Fellow PGA Professional; one of only two lady professionals at that level in South Africa. She is also a TPI Level One Certified Instructor. Elsabe played the game professionally on the Future’s Tour in America and in South Africa, so is able to offer our students a wealth of knowledge and her experiences of playing golf at the highest level. She served as the President of the WPGA of South Africa in 2002/3; coached the Gauteng North Team Senior Ladies Team from 2003-2005 and in 2010 she coached and accompanied the SA Deaf Team to Scotland.

Theo Bezuidenhout Consulting: Resident Sport Psychologists
Theo Bezuidenhout (Founding Member) and Stephen van Niekerk (Associate) both obtained their Masters degrees in Counseling Psychology at the University of Pretoria. Theo has 7 years experience as a Sport Psychologist, consulting to numerous athletes worldwide, while Stephen is a sport enthusiast who has worked in various contexts within the field of psychology, including sport.
